The pure product is a colorless crystalline solid. m.p. 125～129℃ (diastereomer A is 136.7℃, B is 145.2℃, and the low eutectic of A and B is 118℃). The vapor pressure at 20℃ is <1.0×10-3Pa [A is 3.8×10-3Pa, B is 3.2×10-3Pa (100℃)]. Solubility at 20℃: dichloromethane 100-200g/L (A is 200-500g/L, B is 50-100g/L), isopropanol 30-100g/L [20-50g (A or B)/L], toluene 10-30g/L [A is 10-20g/L, B is 1-2g/L], n-hexane 1-10g/L [≤10g (A or B)/L], water 5mg/L [2.9mg (A)/L, 1.6mg (B)/L]. Partition coefficient 126000 (A), 25000 (B). It is relatively stable in both acidic and alkaline media and is stable under normal storage conditions.

Product Application of Bitertanol CAS#55179-31-2

Broad-spectrum, highly effective, systemic scabicide. It can penetrate the cuticle of leaves and enter plant tissues, with protective, therapeutic and eradication effects. It is mainly used to prevent and treat black spot and rot of fruit trees, leaf spot of bananas and peanuts, and rust and powdery mildew of various crops. To prevent and treat flower rust, leaf spot, cotton and soybean rust, use 30% EC 6-9mL/100m2 to spray with water, spray once every 12-15 days, and spray 2-3 times in total. To prevent and treat leaf spot, powdery mildew, rust, anthracnose and angular spot of kidney beans and cucurbit vegetables, use 40% EC 7.5mL/100m2, 12mL/100m2 for basal rot, 15-30mL/100m2 for brown spot of beets, and 10.5-12mL/100m2 for powdery mildew and rust, and then spray on stems and leaves. 0.0125% to 0.0188% is used to prevent and control apple rust and black spot. It has obvious side effects on apple powdery mildew and special attention should be paid. In addition, it can also be used for peach scab, wheat leaf perforation, pear rust, black spot and rust of ornamental plants such as chrysanthemum, dianthus, geranium and rose.
