Products Description of Glycerol triglycidyl ether CAS#13236-02-7
Glycidyl ethers include allyloxyepoxypropane, diglycidyl ether, isopropyl glycidyl ether, butoxye-popropane, diglyeidyl ether (EP-562) and epoxphenoxypropane, etc. They are a group of substances with similar chemical properties and toxic effects. They are colorless liquids with some pungent odors. They have low acute toxicity when in contact with the mouth and skin, and moderate toxicity when in contact with the respiratory tract. They mainly act on the nervous system. Generally speaking, their effects are first exciting and then inhibiting. Inhalation poisoning tests have strong irritation to the lungs and even cause pulmonary edema. They are also very irritating to the skin and can cause burns. Contact with humans may cause strong irritation to the skin and eyes. Symptomatic treatment.

Product Application of Glycerol triglycidyl ether CAS#13236-02-7
Glycidyl ether is widely used as a viscosity-reducing diluent for epoxy resins, alkyd resins, stabilizers for organic chlorides such as pesticides and herbicides, and resin modifiers. Glycidyl butyl ether is mainly used as a reactive diluent for epoxy resins, as well as coatings, adhesives, and electrical components. Glycidyl allyl ether can be used as a flame retardant modifier for unsaturated polyester resins. Glycidyl phenyl ether also has some applications in reactive diluents and base resins for coatings. The demand for glycidyl methyl ether is not large. In Japan, the annual demand for this product is about 900 to 1,000 tons.
