Products Description of ChlorphenesinCAS#104-29-0
Chlorphenesin is a preservative widely used in cosmetics and is compatible with most preservatives (including potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, methylisothiazolinone). It is white crystals, usually with a weak characteristic odor. Melting point 77.0-80.5℃. Slightly soluble in water (about 0.5%). Solubility in 95% ethanol is 5%. Soluble in ethers. Slightly soluble in fixed oils, insoluble in white mineral oil. Microbial control performance: can provide improved broad-spectrum antibacterial activity. It has the ability to inhibit and kill G+, G-, Aspergillus niger, Penicillium pineophilum, Candida albicans, and Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

Product Application of Chlorphenesin CAS#104-29-0
Chlorphenesin is primarily used as a muscle relaxant, and it works by blocking nerve impulses sent to the brain. In cosmetics, it is used as a preservative because of its antifungal and antibacterial properties. As a preservative, it prevents various products from encountering problems such as viscosity changes, pH changes, demulsification problems, visible microbial growth, color changes, and unpleasant odors. In addition to being used to treat nail problems caused by fungi, this ingredient is most commonly used in facial moisturizers, anti-aging serums, sunscreens, foundations, eye creams, cleansers, mascaras, and concealers. In medicine, chlorphenesin-related preparations are antigen-related immunosuppressants that inhibit ig-mediated histamine release. Chlorphenesin is also an antifungal drug, which is suitable for antifungal, bacterial, vaginal fungal, and trichomoniasis, and has multiple drug dosage forms. In cosmetics, chlorphenesin is used as a cosmetic bactericide in the International Dictionary and Manual of Cosmetic Ingredients. Chlorphenesin can effectively resist Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, especially Aspergillus niger iml149007 and Penicillium pineophilum imi87160 (fungi). It has strong bactericidal activity, and has a good inhibitory effect on Candida albicans ncpf3179 and Saccharomyces cerevisiae ncpf3275 (yeast).
