Products Description of Direct Pigment Yellow 3 CAS#6486-23-3

The pigment is a greenish light yellow powder with bright color. It can be dissolved in organic solvents such as ethanol and acetone when heated. It turns yellow when it meets concentrated sulfuric acid. The color remains unchanged in concentrated nitric acid, concentrated hydrochloric acid and dilute sodium hydroxide. It has good light resistance and heat resistance. It should be noted that it is mainly used for scientific research, not for diagnosis or treatment.

Total solid content is 55%, pigment solid content is 40%, pH value is between 6-8, water washing fastness stain level is 4-5, fading level is 3-4, temperature resistance (180°C when containing 6% of the substance, 160°C when containing 1%), dry rubbing fastness is 3-4, wet rubbing fastness is 3, alkaline treatment fastness is 4, acid treatment fastness is 4, light fastness is 7, and weather resistance is 7.
