Products Description of Sulfamic acid CAS#5329-14-6

Aminosulfonic acid is a colorless, odorless and non-toxic solid strong acid. Its aqueous solution has the same strong acid properties as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, etc., but its corrosiveness to metals is much lower than that of hydrochloric acid, etc. It is extremely toxic to the human body, but it cannot be in contact with the skin for a long time, let alone enter the eyes.

Due to its strong acid properties, it is also called solid sulfuric acid. It can replace sulfuric acid and make extremely pure crystals that are stable at room temperature. Its packaging, storage and transportation are very convenient. Solid aminosulfonic acid has good stability in a dry room temperature environment, is non-hygroscopic, non-volatile, soluble in water, can be ionized in aqueous solution, is moderately acidic, and can be used as an acid standard solution for alkali titration. It is slightly soluble or insoluble in organic solvents, poorly soluble in ether, and soluble in liquid nitrogen, ethanol, formamide, and acetone. Due to its excellent properties, it is widely used in pickling agents, chlorine stabilizers, sulfonating agents, denitrifiers, disinfectants, flame retardants, herbicides, synthetic sweeteners and catalysts.

Product Application of Sulfamic acid CAS#5329-14-6

Aminosulfonic acid is an important fine chemical product, widely used in various industrial equipment and civilian cleaning agents for metal and ceramic manufacturing, petroleum treatment agents and cleaning agents, electroplating industrial agents, electrochemical polishing agents, asphalt emulsifiers, etching agents, dyes, pharmaceuticals and pigments industrial sulfonating agents, dyeing agents, high-efficiency bleaching agents, fiber, paper flame retardants, softeners, resin cross-linking promoters, paper and textile softeners, herbicides, anti-blight agents, as a reference reagent for acid titration in analytical chemistry and standard analytical reagents, etc. Calcium aminosulfonate is used to prevent and control wheat rust, etc. Aminosulfonic acid is used as a cleaning agent because it is solid, has many advantages such as convenient storage and transportation, easy preparation, etc., and is particularly suitable for long-distance use. Aminosulfonic acid cleaning agent has a wide range of uses and can be used to clean boilers, condensers, heat exchangers, jackets and chemical pipelines. In breweries, it is used to remove scale from glass-lined tanks, pots, open beer coolers, and beer barrels; to clean evaporators in enamel factories and equipment in paper mills; in air conditioning, it can remove rust and scale from cooling systems and evaporative condensers; on ocean-going ships, it can remove seaweed and scale from seawater evaporators (distillation equipment), heat exchangers, and brine heaters; it can clean scale from copper kettles, radiators, dishwashing mechanisms, silverware, flush toilets, tiles, food and dairy processing equipment; it can remove protein deposits on steam cookers and deposits on disinfectants used in fresh meat, vegetable, and cheese processing plants. The U.S. Department of Agriculture allows aminosulfonic acid to be used as an acidic cleaning agent in fresh meat, poultry, rabbit, and egg processing companies.
