Products Description of Icaridin CAS#119515-38-7
Icaridin, also known as Picaridin, was invented by the German company Saltigo. It is a broad-spectrum repellent with good mosquito repellent effect and long protection time. It is considered to be safer and less toxic than DEET, non-irritating to the skin, and has a higher overall level. It is also rated as the most effective mosquito repellent besides DEET by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of the United States. It is currently recognized as the best mosquito repellent chemical in Europe and the United States. Due to its high cost, it is mainly used in products in Germany and European countries, so the price is relatively high.

Product Application of Icaridin CAS#119515-38-7
Icaridin can achieve a mosquito repellent effect of up to 14 hours, and can resist mosquitoes, ticks, flies, gnats, horseflies, ants, ants, etc. It can effectively resist insects and ticks that carry pathogens of diseases such as West Nile fever, malaria, yellow fever, dengue fever, Lyme disease, and meningoencephalitis.
Most importantly, it is extremely safe and is one of the very few active mosquito repellent chemicals that pregnant women can use.
It has good low absorption and environmental compatibility, excellent non-irritation and non-skin sensitization. In addition, it feels good on the skin, without any stickiness or greasiness. Due to the above characteristics, the mainstream anti-mosquito repellent sprays in Germany all use Icaridin as the core formula. For example, the five anti-tick and anti-mosquito repellent sprays under the Zeckito brand all use Icaridin as the core ingredient, with concentrations ranging from 15%-25%.
