Products Description of Terbinafine CAS#91161-71-6
Terbinafine hydrochloride can treat skin, hair and nail infections caused by Trichophyton, Microsporum canis and Epidermophyton floccosum. It can also treat various tinea, skin yeast infections caused by Candida, and onychomycosis caused by mold. Terbinafine hydrochloride is an allylamine antifungal drug that inhibits squalene epoxidase in the synthesis of ergosterol in fungal cells and causes squalene to accumulate in cells, thereby killing bacteria.

Product Application of Terbinafine CAS#91161-71-6
Allylamine antifungal drugs have a wider antibacterial spectrum than naftifine and higher antifungal activity. They can highly selectively inhibit the squalene epoxidase of fungi, which blocks the squalene epoxidation reaction during the formation of fungal cell membranes and destroys the formation of chemical books in fungal cell membranes, thereby killing or inhibiting fungi. They are safe, low in toxicity, have few side effects, are well tolerated for oral and topical use, and have no teratogenicity or embryotoxicity. They are clinically used for various skin fungal infections (tinea pedis, tinea cruris, and tinea corporis) and nail fungal infections.
