Cuprous bromide is white powder or cubic crystal, with a melting point of 498°C and a boiling point of 1345°C. It is soluble in hydrochloric acid, hydrobromic acid and ammonia water to form a complex, slightly soluble in cold water, decomposes in hot water and nitric acid, and is insoluble in propyl acetate and concentrated sulfuric acid.
