DMTDA is a new type of polyurethane elastomer curing crosslinking agent, which mainly contains two isomers, namely a mixture of 2,4- and 2,6-dimethylthiotoluenediamine (the ratio is about 77~80/17~20). Compared with the commonly used MOCA, it is a liquid with lower viscosity at room temperature, can be used for construction operations at low temperatures, and has the advantages of low chemical equivalent.

Product Application of Dimethyl thio-toluene diamine CAS#106264-79-3
The main uses of dimethylthiotoluenediamine are:
1. It is a new liquid curing agent for polyurethane elastomers. It is widely used in polyurethane casting, coatings, RIM, SPUA, polyurethane tires and adhesives to extend the chain or cross-link. It is also a curing agent for epoxy resins.
2. As a hardener, when added to TDI and MTDI two-liquid polyurethane elastomers, it must be added at a rate of 10%. In the construction and civil engineering industries, it is often used as an additive for fire-retardant coatings (layer tops, side walls), anti-corrosion of metal materials (coatings on the inner walls of iron pipes), etc. The polyurethane products obtained by reacting with other substances without any treatment are better than those of MOCA (Mocha) hardeners.
3. It is used for polyurethane printing squeegees, oil pipe cleaning scrapers, etc. to improve the oil resistance of polyurethane and the volume expansion rate is also low.
4. In construction, coal mines, metal mines, medicine, stamping and other aspects, in addition, it has a wide range of applications in textiles, papermaking, and printing industries. It can be said that it has a broad market from aviation and aerospace industries to ordinary civilian industries.
